Jarrod Kayler-Thomson has received back-to-back ‘Subiaco Golds’ Player of the Month’ awards for his stellar start to season 2013.
The midfielder says it’s an honor to be acknowledged by the group, made up of life-long supporters and members.
“These guys are a pretty big part of the Club’s culture and the work they do to help the players is fantastic,”
“They’ve been involved in the club for a lot longer than me so to be welcomed by them and to be presented with this award is pretty humbling.”
The 27-year-old has proved to be an outstanding recruit, averaging 27 disposals in his 9 games this season.
Two new members were inducted into the Golds, Bush Parker (father of current skipper Aidan) and Terry Cockran.
Lions player Chris Phelan, Callum Sinclair and Michael Genovese represented the playing group at the dinner.
The Ladies Forum will be celebrating it's 30 year anniversary next month, the group aims to connect all female club members through monthly dinners and fund raising events. Headed by Laura Stafford, the group will commemorate the impressive milestone with a dinner next month.
