- Tuesday, 06 August 2013
Subiaco midfielder Jason Bristow is one of 5 finalists from the Subiaco district nominated for the 2013 Coles AFL School Ambassador Awards.
The Coles AFL School Ambassador Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of the Coles AFL School Ambassadors in WA schools.
Bristow, a teacher at Balga Senior Highschool, has again been nominated in the category of Oustanding Indigenous AFL School Program, the same award he took home last year.
Subiaco Development Officer Matt Lamb says it’s indicative of the passion shown by those involved with the students in Subiaco’s district.
“To have five finalists out of the seven categories is a fantastic achievement – it’s great that our Ambassadors are receiving the recognition they deserve. A lot of effort and resources go into our schools so it’s satisfying to see that it’s making a difference.”
The five finalist are:
Tanya Takayama(Glendale Primary School) - Most Outstanding Primary School Coles AFL School Ambassador Award
David Traynor(John Septimus Roe ACS) - Most Outstanding Secondary School Coles AFL School Ambassador Award
