Subiaco will be looking to finish their season in style against an East Perth outfit who are desperate to make the finals.
This game will also serve as a fund raiser for Telethon Day. East Perth will partner with Channel Seven to raise money for Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research.
Part proceeds will be donated to Telethon and volunteers will be collecting donations in the stands and around the boundary during the match.
There will be plenty of activities for the kids including face painting and a football giveaways.
A win for the Royals would secure them either third or fourth spot on the WAFL ladder depending on other results, however Lions captain Aidan Parker says his side would love to throw a spanner into the works.
“They’re our co-tenants so the rivalry is always very strong, we would love nothing more than to finish our season off with a win and we think we’ve got a team in that can produce that on Saturday.” Parker said.
Subiaco was competitive until half time when the two teams met only three weeks ago. East Perth turned a half time lead of four points into a thumping 68-point final margin.
“Our work rate really dropped off in that second half when we played them last, we identified that pretty quickly after the game and we’ll rectify it this time.” Parker Said.

Matthew Seal kicked a career high 7 goals during the round 21 clash against the Lions and proved far too much for a Subiaco backline that was under siege for much of the second half.
Matt Rosa has been in impressive form for both East Perth and West Coast. He tallied 33 disposals and 5 inside fifties from the wing against Subiaco back in round 21. Elevated to the Eagles’ side he notched 37 disposals against Collingwood last week and is sure to be selected for their game against Adelaide this weekend.
Recently retired from the AFL, Adam Selwood booted 5 goals for the Royals in their loss to South Fremantle last week.
