Business at Subiaco is rounding out for the year with the office closing from the December 22 to Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
The team will finish training this week and will use the Christmas break to re-vitalise and prepare for 2016.
The off-season brought two notable staff changes with Luke Sanders (Football Manager) and Jackson Dennis (Strength + Conditioning) moving on.
Sanders is heading to the West Australian Football Commission after 16 years at the club and we wish him all the best on the next chapter of his career.
Dennis was employed by the Fremantle Dockers after an impressive 2015 campaign with the Lions and his role has been filled by Dan Hiscock.
Subiaco’s female affiliate club the Coastal Titans have been getting heavily involved with the Lions this pre-season. Titans coach Martine Pearman has been ghosting Jarrad Schofield and five girls from Coastal side have been training with the Colts. The initiative has benefited both parties as the relationship with the WAWFL continues to grow.
EYE IN THE SKY
Subiaco have purchased a new i-Tower, which can record 100% of the field from the Northern end. The camera will help the coaches with review and analysis in a way they’ve never been able to before
The fixtures for the 2016 McDonalds WAFL Season have been released including Channel 7's television schedule.
