By The Numbers - RD15, (2017)

Subiaco Football Club tied a club record 12 in-season wins against West Perth with an 11 point round 15 victory that was notable as coach Jarrad Schofield’s 100th match in charge of the Lions.
These are some more of the key numbers behind Subiaco’s hard fought win up at Joondalup against traditional rival West Perth.
2.3 – RYAN: Liam Ryan has only twice registered an individual score-line of 2 goals, 3 behinds in a game. Both have come against West Perth, in round 20, 2016 and round 15, 2017.
2.68 – KICK-TO-HANDBALL: Subiaco’s kick to handball ratio was 2.68 as they had 220 kicks opposed to 82 handballs. Overall in 2017 Subiaco has a kick to handball ratio of 1.63.
6 – GOALS: The last time that Subiaco won a game when kicking just six goals was nearly 30 years ago.  You have to go back to Round 17 1988 when Subiaco beat East Fremantle 6.7 to 3.9.
11 – POINT MARGIN: Subiaco has played West Perth twice in 2017, both meetings being held at HBF Arena. In both games, Subiaco has recorded 11 point wins, 87-76 in round 3 and 47-36 in round 15.
12 – WIN STREAK: Saturday’s win was Subiaco’s 12th in succession. Significantly this matched the club’s 2006 effort of 12 consecutive wins in season. That winning streak back in 2006 was part of a club record 19 wins across 2006 and 2007.
15 – HORSLEY: Kyal Horsley has now tallied up 15 games with at least 20 possessions. Subiaco have won 14 of those 15 games, the only loss in that streak being the 2016 Grand Final.
20.08 – FIRST QUARTER: With another slow start, Subiaco now has an average first quarter score of 20.08. Significantly when looking ahead, next week’s opponent Perth have the highest average first quarter score of 24.21.
36  SCORE: The 3rd lowest score West Perth have scored at Joondalup and the lowest score against Subiaco since RD9, 1966.
80 – WIN PERCENTAGE: Worth pointing out with win number 70 in game number 100, coach Jarrad Schofield possesses a career win percentage of 70. However taking out the first season, Schofield has won 64 of his last 80 games for an even more impressive 80% win percentage since 2014.
83 – HOSKINS: Craig Hoskins had another 7 tackles on Saturday to take his overall 2017 season tally to 83. He has a 5 tackle streak of 10 games and currently sits second in the league for most tackles behind Perth’s Aidan Tropiano.
95 – TACKLES: Saturday’s total of 95 tackles was the most in a game by the Lions in 2017. The last time that Subiaco had more than 95 tackles was in the 2016 Grand Final when they had 97 tackles.
