South West Lions Annual Catch Up

Caves House in Yallingup was a buzz over the Australia Day long weekend as a plethora of former Subiaco Lion's champions gathered for the South West Lions annual catch up.
The South West Lions is a concept put together by club favourite Laurie Keene who has stayed active since retiring keeping players from his era involved with the Club from his homebase in Gracetown.
"I noticed a lot of Subi players resided in the South West which is how the idea evolved. We all had a great time going through Subiaco so it's great to have an annual opportunity to reminise about the good old days" he said
This year 85 'South West and Perth Lions' headed along and were entertained by former West Coast Eagles CEO Trevor Nisbett who is also a regular attendee at South West Lions events - having cut his teeth as a Subaico Football Manager for six years in the 1980's prior to joining West Coast.
