The Subiaco Colts kept the ball rolling in 2013 with three consecutive wins against Peel, Perth and the Swan Districts at an average of 58 points between them.

Small forward Rhys McAlister hit a dominant patch of form with 14 goals from the three massive wins and Max Walters proved to the Colts most prominent ball-getter.

Despite Subiaco’s red-hot form they were undone by fellow top four sides South Fremantle and Claremont but continued to show promise as a finals contender.

Players such as Connor Wilkinson, Jordan Bestry, Chris Bryan, Hayden Kennedy and Joshua Deluca grew in stature over this period; establishing themselves as key contributors for the Lions.
