Go for GOLDS
- Tuesday, 20 January 2015
The GOLDS will be holding their first meeting for 2015 on the 3rd of February as they aim to raise funds for player amenities
All Subiaco Football Club members are welcome to partake in the event, which will be held at Medibank Stadium.
Last year the GOLDS donated over $3000.00 dollars towards the Subiaco playing group and the coterie clubs continue to provide important roles for the football club.
“It’s great to have coterie clubs that provide members with their own management teams to be involved in, said SFC Chief Executive Officer Peter Capes.
“They assist and fund needy areas of the club and we’re lucky enough to have three fantastic groups in the GOLDS, Ladies Forum and the Lions Past Players & Supporters Association."
The SFC coterie groups are often made up of past contributors to the club on and off the field and Capes believes it develops richness having past figures involved.
“Groups like these add richness to the club. You have people that want to contribute something to the Subiaco cause; they might not want to be on the board and they might not want to be a volunteer but the coterie groups offer an outlet that suits them,
“It’s important to have them and they provide positive outcomes for the club.” Added Peter Capes
The GOLDS meeting will kick off at 6:30 on the Tuesday evening with a 20-dollar entry fee covering food and drink
Make sure you get down and show your early support for the Subiaco Lions as we work at going back to back in 2015.
