SFC 17: Around The Club, February

Subiaco kicked off the football season nicely with a 60-point win over Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval.

The Lions fielded 26 players due to the +30 degree conditions and that meant a wide variety of skill sets were on display.

Despite an arm wrestle in the first half the Lions comprehensively broke away from the Swans and eight goals from Liam Ryan sent an ominous pre-season message to the rest of the league. There was also a host new faces including off season signing Gus Litherland (pictured above).
