Premiers Club Launch Set for Friday March 23

The Subiaco Football Club will be officially launching its Premiers Club prior to the final pre-season match of the year between Subiaco and East Fremantle at Leederville Oval on Friday March 23^rd.

A rebranded Premiers Club will see all premiership teams in league, reserves and colts recognised, with every player set to receive an official Subiaco premiership number relating to when they won their first premiership with the club.

The first Premiers Club event is seen more as a casual opportunity for former Subiaco premiership players to reengage with the club ahead of what will hopefully be an exciting 2018 season, with future events set to focus with a message of passing on, for future Subiaco premiership teams.

One of the key architects and drivers of the Subiaco Premier’s Club has been former League and Reserves Premiership Player Todd Holmes, who sees the club as an ideal way to recognise past achievements but also ensuring that future Lions generations are afforded every chance of repeating past success.

“I have a special bond with all my premiership mates that will never be broken,” Holmes said.

“For the club to be offering this opportunity to catch up with these lifelong mates a few times a year and be able to give something back to the club that is close to many of us premiership players hearts is very special.”

All Subiaco premiership players are warmly invited to the upstairs bar at Leederville Oval for 5.30pm on Friday March 23^rd. Finger food will be provided and the club will be putting on a special $7 pint drink price for the night. Updates will be provided by all those who have been instrumental in getting the club relaunched with more details provided on the ambitions this club has heading to the future.

This year is a landmark year for premierships at the Subiaco Football Club with celebrations set for league premierships from 1988 and 2008 and reserves premierships from 1958 and 1998, with all of these premierships set to be further celebrated at a reunion day later in the year.
