Game Day Information - Subiaco Women V Swans Women Sunday May 13

The Subiaco Football Club Women’s teams will encounter another historic day this Sunday, as all three grades play at Leederville Oval on Mother’s Day.

 

Show your support of the Subiaco Women’s team by getting down to Leederville Oval for a full round of fixtures on Sunday, including the Grand Final rematch in the league game as Subiaco battle Swan Districts.

 

Together, Subiaco and Swans have combined to win the past six WAWFL League Premierships and remain two of the benchmark clubs in Women’s Football. Both have made sluggish starts to the season to sit fifth and sixth on the ladder and this promises to be a big match as they fight back towards a top placed finish.

Getting There:                                       

There are three main entrance gates into Leederville Oval, one off Vincent Street, one off Oxford Street and one in close proximity to Richmond Street near the Loftus Recreation Centre.

 

Nearest train station is Leederville train station, on the Joondalup Line. Leederville Oval is a short 8 minute walk from Leederville train station. Trains depart every 15 minutes in both directions on game day.

 

Nearest bus stop is 12694 situated closest to the Richmond Street entrance with bus number 402, 403 and 404 stopping here. Bus stop 12676 stops on Oxford Street closest to the Vincent Street and Oxford Street entrances with bus number 15 stopping here.

Mother’s Day Raffle

The girls from Subiaco Women’s Team will be selling raffle tickets for just $2 for your chance to win some great hampers for Mum. Help support the Subiaco Women and win something great for mum by giving generously to the Mother’s Day Raffle on Sunday.

 

Post Game Presentations

Presentations will take place in the main bar from 5pm. Hang around after the game to hear from the coaches and see all the award winners acknowledged. Supporters of both teams are encouraged to attend and the bar will remain open throughout and following awards.

 

AFL on the Big Screen

The Collingwood V Geelong game will be live on the Bar Big Screen at Leederville Oval, meaning you can keep across the action at the MCG while you cheer the Lions on!

 

Family Friendly Fun

WAWFL Football remains a family friendly environment. All attendees are welcome to come onto the field during the quarter breaks. Please keep a distance from team huddles and leave the ground at the sound of the two sirens.

Subiaco Bar will be open from 12.00pm and is open to all match attendees. The bar will remain open after the game and is the perfect place to enjoy the action.
