Our weekly trip down memory lane this week moves on to Round 11 and some of the previous years best ever Round 11 games featuring the Subiaco Football Club.
Just 12 months ago there was a memorable moment from an inspirational captain while 12 years before that Subiaco had a dominant win.
A massive upset and another career goal kicking day are among the other great moments from past Round 11 games.

Subiaco 87 d Peel Thunder 83
This was the second meeting between the two teams since the 2016 Grand Final, Subiaco took the first meeting and the two sides were evenly matched going into this one. Subiaco seemed to have the game in control at half time however Peel mounted a second half comeback which saw them hit the lead and led going into the games final moments. Enter captain Kyal Horsley. At a boundary throw in just around from the Subiaco goal, Horsley read the opposition ruck to shark the tap and snapped truly with a memorable goal. The siren sounded just after the next restart and Subiaco had one of its best wins of the 2017 season secured. Leigh Kitchin had 26 possessions to lead the way while Clancy Wheeler had three goals in the win.

After a close first quarter, Subiaco took control and came out 59 point winners. Reg Hampson also played a great game with his 4 goals.

Subiaco 117 d Claremont 95
Heading into this round 11 clash everything pointed to a Claremont win. Claremont had won 14 of the past 15 meetings between the two sides and were confident heading into this meeting. The first quarter began as expected with Claremont taking a 22 point lead at quarters end. They would continue their dominance in the second quarter extending their lead to 34 points. Many would have thought that Claremont would continue on to a big win, however Subiaco would start their comeback from here. An incredible 11 to two goal second half, in which Claremont would be held goalless in the last quarter, saw Subiaco come out comfortable four goal winners. The major contributors in the match were Neil Taylor with 34 disposals and Stephen Sells with 20 disposals and six goals.
2015

This win came on the back of multiple high class midfield performances that the Subiaco fans became a custom to witnessing throughout the year. Three midfields in particularly were on top form with Sam Menegola recording 35 disposals and two goals, Brett Robinson recording 34 disposals and two goals and Chris Phelan with 28 disposals and a goal.
