Round 12 WAFLW Recap v East Fremantle
After wins to both the Subiaco Women’s Rogers Cup and Reserves sides against Perth, the WAFLW league game rounded out Sunday afternoon at Leederville Oval. Unfortunately, East Fremantle were too good for the Lions; coming from behind to win by nine points.
Miller and Hooker continued to influence the game in the middle of the ground, especially in the first half with Subiaco leading at half time 3.6 (24) to 1.1 (7). The Sharks then piled on 4.3 (27) to Subiaco’s 0.1 (1) in the second half to come away with the win and the four points.
Tarnee Tester booted all three of Subiaco’s majors in the game, after coming back into the side this weekend.
Despite the loss, Subiaco still sits top of the WAFLW League ladder – one win ahead of East Fremantle, with Swan Districts in third after a win against Claremont this past weekend.
