Vacancy: Subiaco Reserves Head Coach

The Subiaco Football Club are advertising the role of Reserves Head Coach for season 2020. The Subiaco Football Club is looking for a passionate, professional individual with a strong coaching and development background. The successful applicant will be working closely with senior coach Beau Wardman to continue to build the professional and successful culture at Subiaco.

List of Duties include but is not limited to:

1. Maintain at all times a “coach’s code of conduct” that reflects the standing and reputation of the club and the professional status of the WAFL. Ensure adherence to the WAFL coach game day rules and regulations. Sign the attached code of conduct.
2. Assist with the preparation of an annual training plan, philosophies, team rules and training programmes for the entire club in conjunction with the League Coach.
3. To implement, maintain and evaluate the training program and team plan that embraces the League Coach’s philosophy.
4. Establish and maintain sound communication lines with the players.
5. Provide feedback (written/verbal) to the team as a whole and individuals on a weekly basis and at the end of the season.
6. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the players and the opposition.
7. Attend all training sessions as requested by the League coach.
8. Attend Weekly Match Committee meetings
9. Attend all club match day presentations (home game presentations)
10. Attend the annual support staff dinner.
11. To attend coach education courses and seminars as run by governing bodies throughout the year (WAFC, WAFL, AFCA and Subiaco Football Club).
12. Be available to present at District coaching courses and seminars as required.

Essential Criteria

1. Must have a level 2 coaching accreditation
