Meet Board Member - Kristi Annear
Get to know one of the Club's newest board members, Director of Community Engagement, Kristi Annear.
Kristi Annear joins Subiaco after a 3 year tenure on Perth Football Clubs board as Director of the Events & Charity Partnerships and Community Engagement portfolios. She was integral in developing Perth’s Strategic Plan, the development of the many community programs PFC operate and successful club events. She brings with her many years’ experience in the not for profit space being instrumental in bringing the Mental Health program Outside The Locker Room to WA, which Subiaco is involved with, and also time in the fundraising committee at Ronald McDonald House. Currently she heads up HBFs Community Engagement Program, their flagship philanthropic initiative under their Corporate Social Responsibility model. She manages partnerships with the major stakeholders and charities that directly benefit the Health of West Australians.
Kristi was born and raised in the farming community of Narrogin, 200km from Perth. Here, she was exposed to all aspects of grass roots sport including playing netball, hockey, basketball and tennis but the sport that she is most passionate about is AFL. Each fortnight you’ll see her at Optus Stadium cheering on her much-loved Fremantle Dockers and seeks to play a key role in the management of the club in the future. Kristi is a believer that sport brings communities together and we all benefit from that. Being part of The Subiaco FC with strong ties to its zone and being so highly regarded throughout the WA community is something she is very proud of and looks forward to making an impact on both the club and its supporters.
