Aidan Parker has enjoyed a fine career at Subiaco and Scarborough in the Perth Football League; and knows all about a winning culture. Parker is a three-time Subiaco premiership player, former Subiaco skipper, and is one of the more decorated WAFL players of the 21st century.

The now 37-year-old defender was appointed Scarborough’s playing-coach in 2015 taking his talents (and success) to the Perth Football League. Parker helped lift the team from B Grade to a drought-breaking A-Grade flag in the space of four years.

Parker has achieved a lot in 400-plus game senior career, including a hat-trick of WAFL flags (2006, 2007, 2008), representing WA six times, captaining Subiaco Football Club and being selected by the Adelaide Crows with pick 45 in the 2003 Rookie Draft, but leading Scarborough to their first premiership in 20 years is right up there in his fondest moments.

Parker won the B&F for Scarborough’s best-and-fairest award in 2016 and made the club’s 50-year team, before stepping down as coach at the end of 2019, replaced by Subi premiership teammate Wayde Twomey.
