RESERVES

The Subiaco Development side bounced back in great fashion after last week’s draw vs Swan Districts holding onto to a dramatic 5 point win over South Fremantle at Leederville Oval on Saturday.

The home side kicked the first 3 goals of the game thanks to an Aaron Breman 2 goal surge in the first half. South Fremantle would bounce back in the 2nd half creating a hard-fought but low scoring contest in the difficult windy conditions. Subiaco was strong enough and brave enough to hold out the fast-finishing Bulldogs.

Jai Jackson made his debut for the club after Subiaco were fortunate enough to bring him over from East Fremantle. The State 18’s player was lively in his first outing and will be a great asset for the club.

Aaron Breman’s 2twoquick goals gave the Lion’s a three goal lead early in the game while Noah Ash had his best game for the club with a strong game based on his hard running and pressure at the contest.

COLTS

Round four of the Simply Energy Colts’ competition saw Subiaco take on South Fremantle under lights at Leederville Oval on Saturday evening. After a shock loss to the Senior side earlier in the day it was imperative that the colts side came out firing which they did kicking seven unanswered goals in the first term to set the side up for a comprehensive victory over South.

It was a fantastic team effort by our boys which was replicated by the statistics with 18 players collecting more than 10 possessions for the match.

Jed Kemp and Matthew Johnson topped Subi’s disposal count racking up 19 possessions each. Jaxon Bilchuris and Sandon Page once again topped the goalkickers list with three apiece and Captain Connor Patterson who isn’t noted for his goal kicking had a standout performance kicking three goals, having 12 possessions and laying six tackles.
