League
Subiaco came head-to-head with top placed and Premiership favourite Swan Districts this past weekend at Steel Blue Oval in hot conditions on Sunday afternoon. From the first bounce, the Swans hit the scoreboard quickly, kicking 6.8 in the first half to Subiaco’s 0.1.
Subiaco won the third quarter keeping the Swans scoreless, whilst kicking 1.3. The game finished with Swan Districts winning by 36 points 7.12 (54) to 2.6 (18).
The Women’s team continues to sit fifth on the WAFLW ladder after five round with one win and 43.37%. The Lions are currently sitting below East Fremantle who have won two for the season

Subiaco’s next game will be played against South Fremantle at Leederville Oval on Saturday 27 March at 5pm, with the Lions out to beat the Bulldogs for the second time this year.

Rogers Cup
The Subiaco Women’s Rogers Cup were unable to go back-to-back wins this weekend after defeating East Perth last weekend, going down to the Swans by 55 points at Steel Blue Oval.
Subiaco had an accurate start, kicking 1.0 in the first quarter to the Swans 2.0. However, in the second, the Swans put their foot on the accelerator and kicked 3.3 for the quarter, leading by 4.2 at Half Time. The game finished 9.9 (63) to Subiaco’s 1.2 (8)
