Quest Apartment Hotels Volunteer of the Month - April and May winner

Subiaco Football Club recognises that volunteers are a vitally important part of our sport and launched the ‘Quest Apartment Hotels Volunteer of the Month’ Program, to promote and rewards the many hard-working volunteers at the Subiaco Football Club and Junior Clubs within the Subiaco District.

April and May's Volunteer of the Month and winner of a nights accommodation at Quest on Rheola and Quest West End is Renae Munford (Kingsley Junior Football Club) and Michelle Germano (Stirling Junior Football Club).

Renae has committed herself into the role of Auskick Coordinator at her club whole heartily in 2021. Renae has put a enormous amounts of time and effort into developing and increasing the participation in our Auskick program with registrations increasing in 2021. Renae is a friendly, smiley, energetic committee member who is providing an excellent community spirited volunteering role with the club. All Auskick parents, players and supporters are benefiting from her involvement.

Michelle stepped up to the role of the club's Manager's Coordinator at the start of the year, however, without a registrar, she then took this role on as well. She has been amazingly organised with our managers, setting up folders, distributing all our best player awards etc. In addition, she has assisted our equipment manager to get all equipment ready for coaches for game days, and training sessions. She helped organise all the incoming apparel at the start of the year, and since the canteen has opened, she has volunteered her time in there to make sure that this is running smoothly. She is a superwoman and her only downfall is that she struggles to say no to someone when they need help.
