Reserves 1st Semi-Final Match Preview
Subiaco’s Reserves side are also into the second week of finals playing Swan Districts this weekend Leederville Oval and striving for a win to push themselves to Preliminary Final in weeks to come.
FORM
Subi claimed the win in the Elimination Final on Sunday and have now given themselves another chance to go deeper in this year's finals. They finished 4th with nine wins and three consecutive victories as they rounded out the season.
OPPONENTS FORM
Swans got hit with a nine-point loss against a competitive Perth side on the weekend and meant they have to go through another final to make their way to the end. They finished second and have looked strong all season.
LAST TWO TIMES IN FINALS
Subiaco last played the Black and Whites in a final back in 2015 in the qualifying and preliminary finals to which Swans ended up advancing on to the grand final but falling short to South Freo on the biggest stage of all.
The Qualifying final was a boosted win to Subi as they snuck the victory by a margin of just two and met them again in the second last game of the year, the prelim where Swans flexed their muscles to give themselves a grand final berth.
