Keep an eye on Subiaco’s social media channels for updates across the day and if you cannot make it to the game.

FORM

Subi have had a fantastic reserves final series, knocking off second-placed Swan Districts in the first Semi-Final and defeating Claremont last weekend in the preliminary final to earn a spot in the Reserves Grand Final. It was a tight contest against Claremont this past weekend, with Subi clutching victory in the last quarter, kicking into the wind, to win by eight points and defeating the minor premiers 8.4 (52) to 6.8 (44).

OPPONENTS FORM

Similar to Subi, Perth have knocked off both Claremont and Swan Districts this finals series to earn their spot in the Reserves Grand Final. Perth defeated Swans and the Tigers by less than 10 points in tight contests in both games. Perth enjoyed a week off last weekend after defeating Claremont by four points the following week 11.6 (72) to 10.8 (68). Prior to the finals series, Perth lost to Swan Districts and Claremont in the last few rounds of the 2021 home-and-away season by 25 and 55 points respectively, to the Demons have really turned it up this finals campaign. Subi will be throwing everything at them to hopefully come out as reserves premiers.

LAST TWO TIMES

The ledger is even for Perth and Subiaco this year, with both teams winning away from home in rounds 9 and 14 at Mineral Resources Park and Leederville Oval. Subi took the advantage early defeating Perth away from home 8.11 (59) to 8.4 (52) to win by only seven points, despite the 10 additional inside 50's and seven additional scoring shots, causing the game to be closer than Subi would have liked. Round 14 was a similar story with a different result, with the Red-and-Black outfit coming away 22 point victors, 11.8 (74) to 7.10 (52) with Subiaco again failing to convert chances and capitalise on the two additional inside 50's for the game, kicking 0.6 by Half Time. The Grand Final is set to be a tight one, with either team capable of securing victory.

GOALKICKERS

In the round 14 loss, Subi only had four-goal scorers; Atkinson and J. Borchet both kicked one each, whilst Golding (3) and J. Farone (2) were multiple goal kickers.
