It’s do or die for the Colts, who take on South Fremantle at Revo Fitness Stadium on Sunday September 18.

Despite losing the Qualifying Final, the side will be full of fight and will be ready to go for the clash.

FORM

Subiaco came into the finals in hot form, winning four out of their last five games to finish third on the ladder.

One of them was against top of the ladder West Perth, in what was a superb performance.

They again showed fight against Peel Thunder last week, but fell four points short of victory, setting up the Semi Final clash with the Bulldogs.

South Fremantle appear to have rallied in September, after losing four of their past five in the lead up to finals.

The Bulldogs had a win over East Perth, and will present a challenge for the Lions.

LAST TIME THEY MET

In a poetic sort of fashion, the outlier for the two sides’ form pre-finals were against each other, with Subiaco’s only loss in that time coming at the hands of the Bulldogs.

The Lions held the lead for the majority of the game, but were overrun in the last term.

Koltyn Tholstrup did all he could to get his side over the line on the day, with 25 possessions and a goal.

ONE TO WATCH

After being named in the WAFL Colts team of the year for 2022, Rory Murison will be looking for another strong performance.

A bull in the midfield, he’s proven his ability to impact both with and without the football to help his side.

The Mines Rovers product is averaging nearly 10 tackles per game in his past four matches, and will be crucial to the side winning the ball out of the middle.
