Subiaco Football Club Coaches Host Successful Seminar in Esperance
The Subiaco Football Club has continued its commitment to supporting football development in regional Western Australia by sending its league coaches to Esperance for a coaching seminar. The seminar, which was held in conjunction with the Esperance and Districts Football Association (EDFA), was an excellent opportunity for local coaches to enhance their skills and knowledge.
The coaching seminar was led by league coaches Beau Wardman, Nigel Hamilton, and Kara Antonio. In addition to the seminar, the coaches also hosted the Lions Pride training session with Subiaco Talent players and an EDFA women's training session with girls representing all four clubs. The aim of the event was to help develop the skills and knowledge of local coaches, and to give them a better understanding of how the Subiaco Football Club operates.
Stu Berryman, the talent manager at Subiaco Football Club, was thrilled with the success of the event, stating, "It was fantastic to get the Subiaco League coaches to Esperance to run a unique opportunity for Esperance coaches to enhance their coaching skills and knowledge. The EDFA and local coaches have been supportive of the Subiaco Talent Pathway with helping to develop the next crop of senior players. This was a good opportunity to give back to coaches and the league to continue growing local talent and the game."
The coaching seminar was just one example of the Subiaco Football Club's commitment to developing local talent and supporting the growth of the game in regional Western Australia. The club has a strong focus on community development and social responsibility, and is well-known for its involvement in local schools, sporting clubs, and community events.
In addition to the coaching seminar, the Subiaco Football Club has also been actively involved in supporting the development of local talent through its Talent Pathway program. The program is designed to help identify and develop the next generation of football stars, and is open to talented players from across Western Australia.
Berryman added, "The Subiaco Talent Pathway is a key part of our commitment to developing local talent and giving young players the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are always looking for ways to support the growth of the game in regional areas, and events like the coaching seminar in Esperance are a great way to do that."
