SFC appoints new Commercial Manager

The Subiaco Football Club is pleased to announce Joe Georgiades as our new Commercial Manager to oversee the crucial corporate partnerships and business development portfolio of the club.

Joe has forged a successful career in football administration over the past decade managing country football for seven seasons between 2012 and 2019 and most recently managing partnerships for the Perth Football League.

Joe is a passionate Subiaco fan having first played for the club as a 16-year-old in our talent programs in 1995 and after playing Colts and Reserves managed 28 League games for the Lions between 1998 to 2001 under Kevin Sparks. 

Subiaco Football Club Chief Executive Officer Peter Capes said, “I am excited to welcome Joe back to the Club where he will be a key part of our management team looking to work on strategies to drive all of the club’s revenue opportunities.”

“Joe is a high-quality appointment and brings a great mix of sports administration experience along with a passion for the game,” Mr Capes said.

“The Board and I are excited to have Joe in the role and believe he will create strong relationships with our current partners and assist us to make new and lasting connections.”

A big focus of Joe’s role will be servicing and growing the club’s commercial partnerships and finding new revenue streams to help secure the club’s future.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of the Lions community and helping the continued growth of my old club,” Georgiades said.

“I see some great potential through the Subiaco and Leederville precincts, our past player networks and our metro and regional zones of the Goldfields and Esperance to grow our footprint and build positive partnerships that support the Club’s on-field and community endeavours.”
