Colts: Elimination Final Preview vs West Perth

Subiaco are set to host the Elimination Final against West Perth at Leederville Oval on Saturday September 2, after finishing fourth in the home and away season.
Results in round 20 meant the Lions narrowly missed out on a top three finish, meaning they will have to do it the hard way to achieve the ultimate success come Grand Final day.
However, the equation for the side is simple: they must keep winning to progress.
FORM
Subiaco had claims to be the form team of the competition prior to last weekend.
Having won five in a row, the side was building to their best at the right time of the year.
However, a loss to East Fremantle cost them a spot in the top three, meaning they missed out on the double chance.
With some key players to return, the Lions could pose a threat, despite finishing fourth.
Meanwhile, West Perth finished their regular season off strongly, and will be no easy beats on Saturday.
LAST TIME THEY MET
Back in round 10, Subiaco defeated the Falcons by 37 points at Leederville Oval.
It was a game where the Lions took charge early, before kicking away in the final term.
Riley Crane was one of the best on the day for Subiaco, following his 19 disposals, 11 tackle effort.
ONE TO WATCH
A player who has shown plenty of growth in 2023 has been Tyler Senge.
The midfielder has broken out this season, thriving on the ball.
It was capped off by a season-high 34 disposal match in round 19 against South Fremantle.
His influence could be important for the side’s success going forward.
