Reserves: Qualifying Final Match Preview vs Swan Districts
Subiaco will be looking to book their spot in the semi final when they take on Swan Districts at Leederville Oval.
Like the League side, the Lions have earned the double chance, and will be looking to continue their winning form.
FORM
The Lions have won three of their past four games, as they tune up for September action.
This included a good 50-point win over fifth-placed East Fremantle last week.
It means they are in winning form, heading into their clash with the Swans.
Swan Districts also head in with a win in round 20, but had lost the past three games prior.
However, the Swans did the work early in the season to earn second, meaning Subiaco will need to be ready from the siren.
LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions were defeated by Swan Districts when the two sides went head to head in round 14.
Subiaco was inaccurate on the day, and lost by five points despite having five more scoring shots.
Corey Robinson was important on the day, with 27 disposals, nine inside 50s and eight tackles.
ONE TO WATCH
Lachlan Vanirsen continues to impress, following his return from injury.
After undergoing surgery in the off-season, he returned to action in round 10 and now looks back to his best.
The 20-year-old shows maturity beyond his years, and is a big game player having been named best and fairest in last year’s Grand Final win.
