Rhode Chalks Up 150 WAFL Games
A second milestone for Drew Rohde inside a month as Subiaco’s Mister Fixit reaches his 150-game WAFL milestone this weekend.
Joining the Lions after 46 games with West Perth, Rohde played his 100th senior game for Subi recently after joining the club in 2018.
“I was honoured to play one hundred games for the club last month, but when you throw in my days at West Perth, the one fifty is a real special moment for me. “ Rohde said.
“You don’t play for milestones but I guess I will reflect on the achievement, once my playing days are over,” he added.
Coach Beau Wardman declaring 31 year-old Rohde as one of the most coachable players during his time in charge of the senior team.
“Drew’s trademark has been his consistency and reliability. He has set the standard in professionalism and preparation.” Wardman said.
“He has shown great resilience and character over the years at our club. On the verge of moving on a couple of years ago to winning a premiership and now vice-captain. He has the utmost respect from everyone within the four walls,” Wardman added.
A win over East Fremantle this weekend will be a great way to celebrate Rhode’s milestone but more importantly a chance to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Claremont before the bye.
