15's Regional Carnival in Perth

Some future stars of Subiaco FC came down from Goldfields this week for the 15s regional carnival.

A combined Kalgoorlie and Esperance team took on the Great Southern and Midwest across Monday and Tuesday in some heated contest. The Great Southern proved to be too strong at Claremont Oval running away with a victory. Captain Lance Bacher was holding up strong in defence and Tommy Coughlan looking clean through the midfield. 

Game 2 saw the Goldfields team take on Midwest at Bassendean Oval in testing conditions. It was a tight battle with lead changes throughout but Midwest were too strong coming off with a win. Taj Liddelow provided a target up forward kicking a bag of goals and Zinzan Clark showed his class through the midfield.

Talent manager Stu Berryman was impressed with the talent of the group, “It was awesome to see the group take on the challenge of Great Southern and Midwest, the Regional Zone for Subi has produced some strong players over the last couple of years and looks like there are a few superstars to follow in their footsteps from this cohert.”
