Huge Ladies Day On The Cards
A massive day is planned this Saturday both on and off the field at Sullivan Logistics Stadium.
While the Lions will take on the Perth Demons in a winnable game, the Subiaco clubrooms will be bursting at the seams with the annual Ladies Day event taking place.
With only a handful of $65 tickets left, a sell-out attendance of 200 of footy’s finest females will be enjoying the game and some Subi Socialising.
Proud Subi mum (of Taj), Bec Schofield took on the role of event organiser this year and said "the support of local businesses has gone a long way to ensuring this year’s event is one of the best ever."
“Everyone is looking forward to getting together for a great celebration of the Club. Hopefully all teams get a W (against the Demons), with celebrations planned to go into the night,” she said.
Bec has been joined on the Ladies Day committee by Stefani Little, Ellie Buswell, Tessa Stewart and Women's team captain Tess Lyons and the committee has collected a huge array of donations which will be used as prizes and giveaways throughout the event.
“The build up has been amazing and there is a real buzz about it.” Bec added, "Hopefully this day creates a network of ladies that would like to continue to be involved with the Club."
The event will also be used to fundraise with all profits generated to go towards re-fitting the Club's training facilities which will benefit all club football programs.
The event starts at 2pm.
