Member's Match Day
Lion's faithful are invited to attend one last League match day for 2024 as we play the old enermy Claremont this Sunday who will be hoping to secure a finals position with a win. The Club has chosen to celebrate its Members on the last league home match of the year.
"Any strong Club needs a strong Membership base and growing our membership is definatley something we aspire to do in the coming years to get on par and ahead of other clubs in the WAFL." said Club Commercial Manager Joe Georgiades. "Currently we have a small and loyal number of paid up members, so this Sunday we will be hosting as many of them as possible for a morning tea to celebreate the Club and their support in 2024" he said.
The Club set a goal at the start of the year to hit 1,500 members but will probably fall about 100 short of that target.
The League match start time is 12.30pm to not coincide with the Dockers important final game, and the game was moved to a Sunday with East Perth v Peel being moved to Saturday at Sullivan Logistics Stadium.
It looks like the weather will fine up by Sunday and the team will be looking to finish the year on a high.
The game will have a special significance with three Subiaco stars in Leigh Kitchin, Ben Sokol and Angus Dewar all announcing their Subiaco retirements in the past fortnight.
Members will be treated to a pre game morning tea and get to listen to the three retiring champions prior to their final League match between 11am and 12pm and they will be interviewed by Sport FM's Jacob Landsmeer.
Paid Members can register to attend prior to COB this Thursday here
