Savigni Wins 2024 Outridge Medal
On Friday 4th Subiaco FC held the 2024 Outridge Medal Night to celebrate the Reserves and League season. Players, partners, family, staff and special guests came looking their sharpest to find out who was this season's Best and Fairest.
Greg Clark was the front runner throughout the night topping the leaderboard after rounds 5, 10 and 16 but due to a groin injury Clark's season was cut short. This left Liam Hickmott, Wil Hickmott, Galen Savigni and Kody Eaton all strong contenders for the Outridge.
Galen Savigni ended up atop the leaderboard after the final round but only by 2 votes. This is Savigni's first Outridge win at the age of 22. Having played only his 50th League game in the final round of this season, Galen has proved he is a powerhouse in the WAFL.
