A history making season climaxed on Sunday evening as at the historic first Grand Final at Optus Stadium, Subiaco made team history by claiming three premierships, league, reserves and colts.
It was the perfect ending to the perfect season, as Subiaco’s league team completed a 20-0 season winning the 2018 Grand Final by 81 points.
Subiaco’s Colts have won just their third WAFL Colts Premiership in history holding on for a tense two point win over Swan Districts in an absorbing Grand Final at Optus Stadium.
The win helped deliver Subiaco their first Colts premiership in nearly 30 years, with the only other two premiership wins coming in 1989 and 1974.
The Subiaco Football Club wishes to congratulate league coach Jarrad Schofield who has accepted a coaching role with Port Adelaide for next season.
This is a wonderful achievement for Jarrad and the club is delighted that it has been able to assist an aspiring young coach achieve success in the WAFL and be rewarded with an opportunity at the AFL level.

Following Sunday’s 2018 WAFL Colts Grand Final, which was won by Subiaco, an investigation was undertaken by the West Australian Football Commission into a possible breach of the coaching guidelines.
Subiaco’s Reserves have won back to back premierships for the first time since 2003 after outlasting East Perth by 18 points in a highly competitive 2018 WAFL Reserves Grand Final played at Optus Stadium.
For the second year in a row Subiaco went into a Reserves Grand Final as an underdog with their depth tested by virtue of having two senior teams in Grand Finals.
