Subiaco announce 2020 leadership team

Last night, the 2020 Subiaco Football Club leadership team was announced with players and members of the board present.

A week ago, players participated in a session reviewing what they would like to see from our leadership groups and what they believe are the required attributes of a good leader. Conducted in small groups separating senior and development players, the entire squad were provided some thought provoking feedback.

Joyce announces his retirement

Last week, Justin Joyce informed the playing group that he will be hanging up the boots ahead of the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season.

27-year-old Joyce, finishes up playing 58 league games, averaging just under 17 disposals a game.

Subiaco’s 2020 fixture confirmed

Subiaco’s season has been mapped out with the release of the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Season fixture on Saturday, as the Club looks to make it three-in-a-row in 2020.

There are only three games played on Sunday at home at Leederville Oval for Subiaco in 2020, including the round four game against Peel Thunder over the ANZAC Day Long Weekend.

Powell takes out the Subiaco 2km time trial

Midfielder Rowen Powell has come out on top, taking out the 2km run at the club on Tuesday afternoon.

Powell raced home ahead of new recruit Lewis Upton.

After taking home the first pre-season time trial in November, Roman Murdoch came home in third place.

Yarran still part of the Subiaco Family

Last week, Subiaco announced the signing of Pilbara pair Daniel Farmer and Lewis Upton, the pair playing in the same side since representing WA as part of the New Holland State Country Team mid-2019 at Optus Stadium.
