For Subiaco’s WAFLW captain Tarni Golisano, belief has never been short for the Lions.

It was there in the narrow one-point loss to Peel Thunder in round one.

After round 10’s loss to Claremont, despite the team having just two wins from eight games, the feeling still remained.

Subiaco will go head-to-head with Peel Thunder on Saturday June 11 where the Lions will be playing for their season’s future at Leederville Oval.

The Subiaco Lions are proud to announce our partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia during Men’s Health Week.  We will be working with the PCFA through their “Walk for Him” initiative to help raise awareness and fundraise for the foundation over the next week.

Subiaco put the fight to Peel Thunder, but just fell short in a six-point thriller at Leederville Oval.

The Lions were ahead for the majority of the contest, but weren’t able to stop a surging Thunder outfit, who were buoyed by the inclusion of two-time Brownlow Medallist Nat Fyfe.

Subiaco continued their remarkable 2022 campaign, completing a gutsy 13-point win over Claremont at Leederville Oval on Sunday June 5.

The contest was neck and neck all game, with one straight kick separating the two sides for the majority of the game.
