Subiaco have staged a remarkable come from behind victory, winning by 14 points against Swan Districts in Kalgoorlie on Saturday May 21.

Subiaco have continued their recent form, with a 35-point win over West Perth at Leederville Oval on Sunday May 22.
In wet conditions, Subiaco weathered the early flurry from the Falcons and dominated from there.
Their effort and intensity kept West Perth scoreless from the second term onwards, leading them to the 6.6 (42) to 1.1 (7) win.

The footy rich town of Kalgoorlie will host their first WAFL game since 2014, with Subiaco taking on Swan Districts in a round 5 clash, aligning to the AFL’s Sir Doug Nicholls round, in the lead up to Reconciliation Week. The game comes as a result of the Regional WAFL Fixture Funding Program with major partner Rio Tinto.

For Subiaco forward Ryan Borchet, timing has been a blessing and a curse during his WAFL career to date.
In his first year at League level, he was the unlucky omission from Subiaco’s team heading into the 2018 Grand Final, but claimed a reserves flag in the process.
