Subiaco Medical Room Upgrades Complete

Over the past few months, the Subiaco Football Club has completed a comprehensive upgrade of the trainers and medical rooms at Sullivan Logistics Stadium.

The project involved a full clean-out of the existing spaces, fresh paint as part of the club’s Community Paint Day, and the installation of a wide range of new equipment, cabinetry, furnishings, and finishes. The upgrades included seven new treatment tables, new storage cabinetry, and a reworked layout designed to improve both functionality and workflow for the club’s medical team.

Club chiropractor Jon Tan is excited about the transformation.

“I was here at the club in 2010 when an extension was done to these rooms, and not much has been done since then,” Tan said. “This latest upgrade really lifts the space, and I think we’ve created an area where players will enjoy coming in and getting treatment.”

“The rooms now have more storage space, and the new equipment and layout really help with the flow of how the space works. With so many treatment tables available, players can get treatment and strapping done very efficiently.”

A key feature of the upgrade is the Tom Dadour Medical Room, which has been transformed into a highly functional, multi-purpose medical consult space. The room can be used for private consultations, player assessments, and administrative work, providing the medical team with a quiet and professional environment away from the main treatment area when required.

As part of the refurbishment, the club has also honoured a number of past trainers with framed photo tributes and plaques. These displays serve as a reminder to current players and staff of the dedication, service, and countless hours of work contributed by those who have come before them.

The medical room upgrades also complement further improvements currently underway at the club, with upgrades to the warm-up and gym areas scheduled for completion in the coming weeks. Together, these projects will continue to strengthen Subiaco’s high-performance environment.

The club would like to sincerely thank all members of the Tuesday Response Group (TRG), along with club chiropractor Jon Tan, for their time, effort, and contribution to this project.

With the completion of these works, Subiaco Football Club now boasts medical and training spaces that reflect both the proud history of the club and its ongoing commitment to providing best-practice care for its players.
