Subiaco 2004 Premiership player and Fremantle lege

Subiaco 2004 Premiership player and Fremantle legend David Mundy was inducted into the West Australian Football Hall of Fame last night.Mundy played 19 games for Subiaco in 2004, including the Premiership win over Claremont, and one game in 2005 before making his debut with the Fremantle Dockers.That same year he was nominated for the AFL Rising Star and won Fremantle’s Beacon Award for best young talent. In 2010 he was named All-Australian and won the Doig Medal as Fremantle’s best player, earning All-Australian honours again in 2015.Mundy was then named Fremantle captain for the 2016 season. He went on to become just the second Docker to reach 300 games in 2019. David retired at the end of the 2022 season after 376 games — the eighth most in VFL/AFL history!A remarkable career and a well-deserved honour.Congratulations, David Mundy! 🎉
