Lion’s Den Function Centre

Spaces

The Lion’s Den Function Centre can host up to 400 guests in our Function Centre or 250 for a sit down function. This space is equipped with AV equipment to carry out professional presentations and entertainment.

Other spaces at the venue include a boardroom for private meetings; an alfresco area; a court yard; a corporate deck; and the oval itself, which can also be booked for a memorable event.

Drinks

The Lion’s Den Function Centre is a fully licensed facility that can offer a range of drink alternatives from tap or packaged beers, to local wines and delicious cocktails. We’ll work with you to design the perfect package for your next function.

Whether you are looking for a plated fine dining experience, a business lunch or a cocktail event, the Lion’s Den Function Centre has a variety of options at a variaty of price points.

Pricing Options

  • Room Hire & Set Up

    Room Hire & Set Up

    Booking of the Function Centre generally starts at $450 plus gst which includes set up, room hire and cleaning. This payment must be made to secure the booking. Additional fees may apply for weekends, public holidays and substantial set ups.The Board Room can be booked for $300 plus gst per day.A security deposit of $1,000 may be applied.

    If you are looking for some intimate entertainment, we can help secure quality acoustic artists for $1,000 plus gst for 2 hours.
  • Master of Ceremonies

    Master of Ceremonies

    We have access to a range of MC’s who can host your event. Prices begin at $500 per event. Other considerations may include Quiz Master, Welcome To Country or Auctioneer – all of which we can provide assistance.
  • Food & Beverage Options

    Our team will liaise with the client and caterers to design a perfect menu for your event. We also have partnerships with a number of local Leederville businesses who can provide fantastic catering options.As a price guide business lunches start at $20 per person with 3 Course Meal Packages starting from $79 per person.
  • DJ & Dance Floor

    DJ & Dance Floor

    If you are planning to kick on to a dance style party, we can arrange a dance floor ($300 plus gst) and a DJ ($500+ gst for 2 hours) to get the party started.
  • Photo Booth

    Want to capture the fun of your event with a Photo Booth? Prices start at $500 plus gst.
  • Audio Visual

    Audio Visual

    An Audio Visual fee of $160 plus gst covers the use of Function Centre Projector, Televisions and Microphones. Onboarding is provided before the event.
  • Linen

    Linen

    Linen such as Table Cloths can be added at a cost of $15 plus gst per unit.
  • Tea & Coffee Station

    Tea & Coffee Station

    We can set up a Tea & Coffee station for a fee of $250 plus gst.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the venue accessible for people in wheelchairs?

Yes the main Function Area is up a flight of stairs which is also accessible via an elevator in the foyer. There is a disabled toilet in the function centre. Please notify staff if a high volume of patrons will require the elevator. There are a small number of disabled car parks onsite that require an ACROD pass to access.

Does the venue have access to parking?

Access to parking close to the venue during work hours is often limited. School Holidays and after hours events are better for events that required significant car parks. There is also access to parking at the Loftus Centre which is a 200m walk from the venue.

Do you have partnerships with local Leederville businesses that can support our function?

Yes, we have partnerships with a number of cool local businesses including cafes, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs etc and can always ask them to help support your event.

Can we supply our own alcohol?

The venue is fully licensed which means you are unable to bring your own alcohol into the venue. Whilst we have some agreements with suppliers inlace, we are happy to chat around any particular drinks you wish to consume.

Can we supply our own food?

Under certain circumstances, we do allow customers to bring their own catering. In some instances we do charge $300 plus gst which covers the costs of storage, rubbish removal and additional cleaning.

Can we supply our own decorations?

Yes, you are welcome to decorate the venue as you wish provided no permanent damage is done and the venue is returned as it was found. Restoration costs may be deducted from the function bond.

Can we use the Football Oval?

The oval can be book for a unique experience. Please chat to staff as we will need to work around oval maintenance staff for any requests.

The Lion’s Den Function Centre is located inside the Subiaco Football Club (the Lions) building which is based at Leederville Oval (Sullivan Logistics Stadium), in Leederville.Enter via Vincent Street and drive straight for 150m to find the venue on your right.
