Sullivan Logistics Stadium Update
Author: Subiaco FC
A significant milestone was achieved today as goal posts were erected at Sullivan Logistics Stadium in preparation for football returning to the venue in March.
This project was the first entire oval turf replacement at the venue in over 20 years and should see the ground have a completely different profile to the previous turf which became notoriously chopped up during the winter months.
With soil replaced pre-Christmas and turf laid early January, the oval is looking in pristine condition for the start of March and training and games being reintroduced to the venue.
Players will get their first look at the turf on Saturday and the excitement is building for the first League match at the venue on 5 April vs East Perth.
