Lions appoint Michael Dobbin as new Strength and Conditioning Coach
The Subiaco Football Club is pleased to announce Michael Dobbin will join the club as the new Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Dobbin will take over the role from Matthew Olds, who departed the club last month.
Dobbin joins the Lions from the NRL’s North Queensland Toyota Cowboys where he worked as the Football Department's Head of Performance.
Prior to that, Dobbin worked at the Fremantle Dockers for just over 10 years as the senior strength and conditioning coach until 2018. He was also Head of Physical Performance for the AFL's biennial Indigenous All Stars Program in 2015 and 2017.
Subiaco CEO said being able to attract someone of Dobbin's calibre to the Subiaco Football Club was a testament to the professionalism and culture at the club.
“We're excited by the experience that Michael will bring with his 10+ years at the Fremantle Dockers,” said Capes.
