Drew Rohde joins as next signing for Subiaco

Subiaco has moved swiftly to replace the five Lions drafted to the AFL in the national and rookie draft, with Drew Rohde signing on to play for Subiaco in 2018.
 
Rohde spent the 2017 season playing in the Central Midlands Coastal Football League, helping Jurien Bay to win the premiership playing alongside returning Lion, Rhys Waters. Rohde played 14 games and kicked 19 goals for Jurien Bay being named one of the best players in the CMCFL Grand Final.

Subiaco's Talent Pathway Shines in 2017 AFL Draft

Subiaco Football Club’s recent decision to invest heavily in its talent pathway has paid handsome rewards at the 2017 AFL Draft with four players recruited into the AFL system.
 
Liam Ryan and Brayden Ainsworth were second round selections by the West Coast Eagles while Kyron Hayden and Ben Miller were selected back to back in the fourth round of the AFL Draft.
 

Subiaco List Update

With pre-season training set to resume, Subiaco is finalising another productive off-season as the club strives to improve its on-field team to ensure that the Lions remain a competitive side in the 2018 WAFL competition.

After falling in the Grand Final of the last two WAFL seasons, Subiaco has embarked on a retention and recruitment campaign that ensures the competitive balance of the team throughout the entire 2018 season.
 

The Final Siren November Update - Kick to Kick Confirmed

The build-up to the once in a lifetime event at Subiaco Oval, “The Final Siren”, has continued over the past month with confirmation that access to Subi Oval has been granted  for Subiaco members and players attending the event.

 
All former Subiaco members, players, coaches, officials, trainers, physios, doctors etc and their families are encouraged to come along and walk or run through the change rooms, up the race and on to the oval for a kick or two!

It has been a busy time around the Subiaco Football Club since the conclusion of the 2017 WAFL season.
 
With the football department working on retention and recruitment of players, talent department transitioning to a new operating model, business development focusing on new strategies to improve the club’s off field operations, finance finalising the end of our financial year at October 31, member services focusing on the 2018 membership and marketing needs of the football club and facilities team completing required maintenance around the club.
 

Josh Deluca Rejoins Subiaco

A local Subiaco district product from the Sorrento-Duncraig Junior Football Club, Deluca returns to the club that gave him his first opportunity at WAFL level having graduated through the Subiaco colts in 2012 and 2013. 
 
Deluca burst onto the WAFL scene with a memorable rookie campaign in 2014, playing 12 league games for Subiaco including a key role in the clubs 2014 premiership win over East Perth. Drafted by Fremantle at the subsequent 2014 AFL National Draft, Deluca went on to play four games with Fremantle before being delisted at the end of the 2017 season.
 
Deluca returns to Subiaco as a three time WAFL premiership player, having played in Peel’s last two premiership wins over Subiaco. Heading into 2018 Deluca will have the potential to join a rare group of players who have played in multiple WAFL premierships with multiple WAFL clubs.

Coastal Titans have been one of the premier clubs in the WAWFL competition and as the continue to closely align with the Subiaco Football Club moving forward, 2018 represents another significant year for the club.
 

Australian Sports Foundation on board as Fundraising Partner of Subiaco

The Subiaco Football Club is delighted to announce a new partnership ahead of 2018 with the Australian Sports Foundation coming on board as the Fundraising Partner of the club.
 
The Australian Sports Foundation has worked with sporting organisations for close to 30 years helping raise money for Australian sport with over $350 million being raised across its near 30 year history.
