Subiaco made a winning start to their 2018 Pre-Season, recording a hard fought 10 point win over West Perth at Leederville Oval.
While failing to hit their best brand of football, Subiaco did enough to build a handy lead in the first half and then maintained the advantage in the second half despite a gallant West Perth fightback.

Today's profile is on one of the Subiaco's 2018 recruits, Travis Cleggett. The impressive midfielder, Cleggett was a standout playing for Collie in the SWFL last season and has made the football decision to join Subiaco for 2018.

In key appointments for the club, Dan Hiscock remains as the Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach, Tanya Ferguson remains as the Head Trainer and Craig King remains as the club’s physiotherapist.

The first in the Subiaco Coaching Workshop Series was held on Tuesday night with a strong and highly engaged group of community, talent and female coaches in attendance.
The group was introduced to Subiaco coach Jarrad Schofield and Subiaco colts coach Beau Wardman, with Jarrad and Beau detailing their respective journeys into coaching.

Subiaco’s 2018 Pre-Season will commence this coming weekend with all grades; league, reserves, colts and 16’s to have their first official hit-out of the year with all games to be played against rival West Perth.
A time change has occurred to the start of both the reserves and league games on the Saturday morning to ensure that players are not forced to play in the hot point of the day, with the reserves game to commence at 8.30am and the league game to commence at 11am ensuring both games are wrapped up before 2pm.

The Subiaco Football Club will be officially launching its Premiers Club prior to the final pre-season match of the year between Subiaco and East Fremantle at Leederville Oval on Friday March 23rd.
A rebranded Premiers Club will see all premiership teams in league, reserves and colts recognised, with every player set to receive an official Subiaco premiership number relating to when they won their first premiership with the club.

The Subiaco 16’s Talent Program will be honouring one of the past great Subiaco sides, by wearing the same design jumper as the 1988 Subiaco premiership team.
With 2018 marking the 30th anniversary of this premiership this was seen as the perfect occasion to educate the next generation of Subiaco players about the history of the club, including this popular premiership side coached by the great Haydn Bunton Jnr.
