WAWFL - Round 6 Recap

Subiaco’s wheelchair footballers had a night to forget in Round 6 of the WA Wheelchair Football League played last Thursday night at HBF Stadium, losing both their matches.

Subi sign Stefan Giro

Stefan Giro has signed with the Subiaco Football Club to play at the Lions in the 2022/23 WAFL Premiership Seasons.

Giro departed the Fremantle Dockers in August this year after four seasons marred by injury.

He was selected with pick 21 in the 2018 AFL rookie draft. Giro played a total of 14 AFL games (10 in 2018 and four in 2021).

Round 4 WAWFL Recap

Subiaco bounced back from last weekends loss to Swan Districts, to claim victory in the first match of the evening on Sunday 31 October at HBF Stadium against the Black Swans.

Powell hangs up the boots

Last week, Rowen Powell informed the Club that he will be hanging up the boots ahead of the 2022 Optus WAFL Premiership Season. 

26-year-old Powell finishes up playing 54 league games for Subiaco, averaging just over 15 disposals a game.
