BUPA Injury Report: Round 19
Hayden Kennedy (shoulder) is listed as a test ahead of the Round 19 clash against West Perth, with Hayden training with the playing group and looking to return prior to finals, according to Subiaco Football Manager Michael Farmer.
Joel Latham is also listed as a test after injuring his knee earlier in the season.
“Joel has spent a considerable time out since his knee surgery but has since been training with the squad which is encouraging and could be looking at a return either this week or before finals,” Farmer said.
Farmer said that midfielder Ben Newton will have more rehabilitation work ahead of them before they can return to playing.
“Ben is still a couple of weeks away from playing. He has been running well during his rehab, so fitness won’t be an issue on his return.”
Rowen Powell returned this weekend for the reserves against Swan Districts following his groin complaint.
“Rowen was very good in his return and seemed to run the game out well. He is one of our better runners at the club, so to see him still have the ability to move well and freely was very encouraging,” Farmer said.
Craig Hoskins came off during the game this past weekend with a quad complaint.
“It is a setback for Craig in terms of his quad and the injury he sustained earlier in the year. He will have a scan this week to determine the extent of the injury.”
