Subiaco’s loss to East Fremantle on Saturday August 26 hasn’t stopped the side from finishing in second spot on the WAFL Ladder.
The Lions have earned the right to host Peel Thunder on Saturday September 2 in the Qualifying Final.
The winner will take on the Sharks in two weeks time to play for a spot in the Grand Final.

With the WAFL regular season over and the top 5 set, Subiaco starts Week 1 of the finals with all three grades playing at home at Leederville Oval on Saturday 2 September. Venues and times will be 100% confirmed on Monday morning.

While Mark Lawrence’s term at Subiaco Football Club’s President may be coming to an end, the legacy he leaves the club will last forever.
For 40 years, Lawrence has been involved with the Lions in a variety of different roles, including as a sponsor, a board member, and as the club director.
He said he came on board as part of the Save Subi campaign from the club.

The Club is saddened to hear of the passing of club legend Austin Robertson Jnr.
Ocker was a Subiaco life member, Diehard and an inaugural inductee into the WA Football Hall of Fame. As the leading goalkicker for Subiaco twelve (12) times, he also won the Bernie Naylor Medal 8 times as the WAFL leading goal kicker.
Overall, Robertson kicked 1315 goals in his career, the fourth-highest total in elite Australian rules football history. For Read More [+]
