Subiaco has suffered the heartbreak of a two-point loss to Swan Districts at Bassendean Oval on Sunday July 18.
Despite the Swans controlling the majority of the game, the Lions got things going late, hitting the lead at the 20-minute mark of the last quarter.

Subiaco has been left to rue missed chances early, going down by 14 points to Peel Thunder at Leederville Oval on Saturday July 8.
In a tight game where the final margin was the biggest of the game, the Lions dominated the match early but couldn’t get scores on the board.

Last Saturday, club president Mark Lawrence and Holman's Managing Director and Club Sponsor Wally Edwards AM drew the prizes for the Club's Community Raffle.
The Raffle again raised much needed funds for Community Development programs with Clubs within the Subiaco district also being able to use the raffle as a chance to raise their own funding.

The club is saddened by the passing yesterday of ex-player Wayne Williams after a long battle with cancer. Wayne played 51 league games between 1974 and 1979. His father Fred was a champion for Subi in the late 30’s and was a member of our Team of the Century.

The Subiaco Football Club is proud to celebrate NAIDOC week during round 13 at Leederville Oval on Saturday July 8th.
The players will be wearing Indigenous jumpers designed by former Lion Des Headland and artist Kevin Bynder.
Meanwhile, Whadjuk elder Neville Collard will be in attendance to perform a smoking ceremony prior to the League match.
