Subiaco has continued its winning start to the 2019 WAFL season, recording a 45 point win over East Fremantle at East Fremantle Oval on Saturday.
A strong defensive effort was the backbone of the Subiaco win, as for the second consecutive week the Lions defence held their opponents to under 50 points with East Fremantle only able to register 10 scoring shots on the day.

Subiaco debuted two new league players in last Saturday’s Round One win over East Perth with Jack Beverley and Harry Marsh making their respective Subiaco league debuts.

The Subiaco Football Club first match day of 2019 was held successfully last Saturday with a strong crowd in attendance and a series of engagements for members and fans of the club.
The key event of the day saw the Subiaco Football Club celebrate their historic 2018 season, by raising their premiership flags won in the league, reserves and colts competition.
Subiaco will host their annual Good Friday WAFL match, this year in an historic first against the West Coast Reserves as the WAFL Premiers and AFL Premiers clash.
Proudly supported by the City Of Vincent, the club will celebrate Family Fun Day with the third City Of Vincent Match. This is a day of Family and Footy in Leederville.
