Subiaco held its Annual Family Fun Day and City Of Vincent Match as part of Good Friday football at Leederville Oval.
The annual Good Friday game has become one of Subiaco’s marquee matches of the year and the ability to combine the event with both the City Of Vincent as well as Family Fun Day represented an outstanding opportunity for Subiaco to show its community reach.
The Winners - Round 3 V West Coast WAFL
Subiaco remained on the winners list with a hard fought 15 point win in Good Friday football last week.
The win came on the back of a strong all round team effort as the Lions called on all of its character and class to overcome a dogged West Coast WAFL team.
Game Day Information Round 4 V Peel
Subiaco will host Peel in a Round Four WAFL match at Leederville Oval on Saturday April 27th.
This match will be part of the WAFL’s ANZAC Round for 2019.
Subiaco Record First Win Over West Coast
Subiaco has maintained its winning start to 2019, with a hard fought win over West Coast’s WAFL side in a historic Good Friday battle.
In a match played in tough conditions on a wet Leederville Oval, Subiaco kicked four goals to one in the first half, eventually holding on against a pressing West Coast by 15 points.

After a Round One win and last week’s win against East Fremantle, Subiaco are aiming to keep their winning form in this history making match.
Cleggett Latest Subiaco Player to Debut
For Subiaco’s newest league player, the journey to a first WAFL league game was a winding one from country towns in south west WA culminating on Saturday at East Fremantle Oval.
But for Collie boy Travis Cleggett the one constant that has remained no matter what level of football he was playing and where he was playing football, he just had fun doing it.
Golds & Ladies Forum April Meeting Review
The joint monthly GOLDS and Ladies Forum meeting was held earlier this month, with a great turnout of members for another night of fellowship amongst these Coterie Groups.
Both areas of the football department were heavily represented and spoke during the evening, with Beau Wardman and Michael Farmer representing the senior program and Chayce Creedy and Kristian Dicton representing the talent program.
