Subiaco made it three wins from three starts in the WAFL 2018 Season as they recorded an emphatic 96 point win over Swan Districts on the back of an 18 goal to one domination after the quarter time break.

 

Hayden Kennedy kicked a first ever goal on a career day, Lachlan Delahunty was one hit-out shy of a quadruple double and Brad Stevenson and Ben Sokol each kicked four goals in the big win.

Subiaco’s Colts made it three straight wins to commence 2018 and consolidated their spot at the top of the WAFL Colts ladder as an irresistible second half burst set up a 36 point win.

 

Subiaco held Swans goalless after the major break, kicking the last nine goals of the game, turning a 15 point deficit into a 36 point win as the side engineered a 51 point turnaround.

Subiaco Powers to Third Straight Win of 2018 with 96 Point Victory

Subiaco overcame a determined Swan Districts first quarter fight, eventually powering to a 96 point win, as the Lions impressive start to 2018 continued at the hands of Swans.

 

Stung after the disappointment of two Grand Final losses, Subiaco has now won its opening three matches by margins of 118 points, 58 points and 96 points, sitting on top of the WAFL ladder with a percentage in excess of 250.

Vale Ron Bennett

The Subiaco Football Club expresses its sadness following the passing of Ron "Fangs" Bennett.

 

All those involved with the Subiaco Football Club offer their condolences to the family of Ron.

 

Ron played 64 games for Subiaco over two stints, between 1955 and 1958 and again between 1960 and 1961.
