Today's profile is on one of the young guns of the Subiaco side, Greg Clark. The versatile Clark, who is a local product from the Sorrento Duncraig Junior Football Club, has been a recognised talent since early in his time with Subiaco as a member of the WA State 16s and WA State 18s including captaining the WA State 18s.

Subiaco 16's to Honour 1988 Subiaco Premiership

The Subiaco 16’s Talent Program will be honouring one of the past great Subiaco sides, by wearing the same design jumper as the 1988 Subiaco premiership team.

 

With 2018 marking the 30th anniversary of this premiership this was seen as the perfect occasion to educate the next generation of Subiaco players about the history of the club, including this popular premiership side coached by the great Haydn Bunton Jnr.

Coaching Groups Finalised For 2018 Season

Subiaco has finalised its coaching panels for the 2018 season across all grades with a strong focus towards maintaining continuity among the coaching ranks.

 

Senior coach Jarrad Schofield returns for his sixth season in charge of the Lions, with Subiaco having made the Grand Final in the past four seasons.

Joycey's Clangers with Tom Breeze

Joycey's Clangers is back with Episode 4, in a very special people's choice episode.

 

 

After collecting over 40% of the vote, Tom Breeze was the overwhelming favourite of the people to grace episode 4. As Joycey and Clanger explain though, Breeze aka B1 can't go anywhere without B2, and Ethan Burnett made episode 4 special as 4 Lions were involved for the first time.

Get to Know Justin Joyce

In 2018 Subiaco will be profiling some of your favourite Lions and some of the up and coming Lions players in a special series called, “Getting to Know the Lions”.

 

Today's profile is on one of the veterans of the Subiaco team, Justin Joyce. He is one part of the acclaimed Joycey's Clangers hailing from within the Subiaco metro district through the Carine Junior Football Club. In 2017 Joyce played 18 league games, taking his overall senior game tally to 45, averaging 15 possessions and 4 tackles a game. He was a key contributor in the 2017 WAFL League Grand Final and is set to take another step forward in 2018.

Subiaco Launch "Coaching Workshop Series"

Subiaco’s ongoing commitment to assisting in the development of coaches from within its own district will take another step forward in 2018 with the club implementing a “Subiaco Coach Workshop Series”.

 

The Subiaco Coach Workshop Series will be headed up by senior coach Jarrad Schofield and colts coach Beau Wardman and is open for any coach who is currently coaching in the Subiaco district or those in the Subiaco district who have a passion for coaching.

"Outside the Locker Room" continues Subiaco focus of player welfare

Subiaco will next week see the second in their “Outside the Locker Room” series of seminars and workshops, as the club continues to commit to the importance of developing Subiaco’s players off field as well as on field.

 

“Outside the Locker Room” is a welfare and education program for players, coaches and volunteers associated with the Subiaco Football Club as the club continues to focus on the wellbeing and mental health of its team alongside the physical health of those involved with the club.

Get to Know Max Walters

in 2018 Subiaco will be profiling some of your favourite and some of the up and coming Lions players in a special series called, “Getting to Know the Lions”.

 

Today's profile is on one of the WAFL's most emerging young talents and a Subiaco favourite, Max Walters. Max was one of a select few to play every league game in 2017 as he rapidly emerged as a midfield option in the Lions side. Averaging over 17 possessions a game and kicking 22 goals on the year, Walters enjoyed a great 2017 and after a strong pre-season looks even more primed for a big 2018.
