Author: Admin Subiaco FC

Subiaco Football Club celebrated its 2026 season at the first ever Seniors Awards Night, bringing the Sarah Michell, Blakemore and Outridge Medals together on the one night for the first time in the club’s history.

Hosted by Karl Langdon, the evening recognised the achievements of our Women’s, Reserves and League players, coaches and volunteers, with players, families, members and partners coming together to celebrate the season.

Paige Sheppard claims the Sarah Michell Medal

The Women’s count was one of the tightest of the night, with Paige Sheppard and Lisa Steane trading the lead throughout the season. Lisa led by a single vote after round 10, before Paige edged back in front by one after round 15. Paige finished strongest, polling 96 votes to claim the Sarah Michell Medal. She polled the maximum 7 votes in eight of her 15 games and never polled fewer than 5. Lisa finished runner-up on 93 votes, with Krstel Petrevski third on 84.

Sarah Michell, who founded the Coastal Titans Women’s Football Club in 2004, was on hand to present the medal that bears her name.

Tarrant Reimers wins the Blakemore Medal

Tarrant Reimers took home the Blakemore Medal as the Reserves Best & Fairest with 171 votes, after sitting in the top three at every leaderboard throughout the night. Dylan Prance, who led the count after round 15, finished runner-up on 166 votes to receive the Bill Mackie Memorial Trophy, with Oscar Dees third on 164.

Galen Savigni wins his second Outridge Medal

Galen Savigni claimed his second Outridge Medal, adding to his 2024 win, with 229 votes. Galen hit the front after round 15 and polled at least 12 votes in each of the last five games to finish clear. Stef Giro was runner-up on 211 votes, receiving the Don Carter Memorial Trophy, while Marlin Corbett finished third on 205 to take home the Ted Doherty Memorial Trophy. Galen was also named League Trademark Player, voted by his teammates.
